The Intermediate Breast Reconstruction & Corrective Techniques course is aimed at specialist trainees years 6-7 or above. Using fresh-frozen cadavers with a 1:2 ratio.

Learning Objectives:
– To have a greater understanding of the anatomy of the breast
– To learn how reconstructive techniques impact other anatomy in the surrounding area

Course Content:
– National guidelines for breast reconstruction and MDT approach
– Applied anatomy
– Dissect Mastectomy & Axillary dissection procedures
– Regional Pedicle Flaps
– Perforator flaps including DIEP
– Asymmetry
